Hi I have a 19999 Dakota with a 5.2 five speed... I also have a 97 grand Cherokee with a 5.2. I was wondering what all would need changed to drop the engine from my jeep into my Dakota?
Actually, I don't think you would have to change anything. Maybe the oil pan, and oil pump pickup tube, but, aside from that, I do believe they are the same engine.
Thanks that’s what I was hoping for... just didn’t know if I had to swap out intakes or computers or anything like that or if there was any special little things I had to watch out for
