Trans temp gauge

I have a 2000 Dakota SLT 4.7L v8 4wd.
I'd like to install a trans temp gauge. What is best? I only plan on towing a pop-up camper at 3300 lbs max.

A phone app (torque?) that can read from a bluetooth adapter, and tell you what the PCM thinks trans temp is.

(likely the most accurate method.)
