Another brake question

Default Another brake question

On my 2001 4.7L 2 wheel drive Dakota. Is it safe to pull and replace both front brake calipers at the same time or will I end up with air in my abs module?

Do 'em one at a time. Less chance of all the fluid draining out that way.

Do them completely one at a time, bleeding and all.

Soon as you pull the line, fold up a rubber glove, block the line with it and secure with a rubber band. This stems the dripping for a bit. Put a brick under brake pedal if manual bleeding. Prevents plunger rod from traveling too far and damaging MC seal.
