I have a 99 Dakota sport with the 3.9. I found a 5.2 engine and trans for a good price I want to swap into my truck. Will I have to get different transfer case and drive shafts? Both trucks are 4x4 both trucks are 99s. Thanks in advance

 

As long as the 5.2 has a dakota oil pan and not a ram oil pan, it should be a straight forward swap (other than injectors 7 and 8).
