I have a 01 4.7l 45RFE Equipped truck and a 01 3.7l NV3500 equipped truck with no title that I want to swap the trans into my v8 truck. I know it can be done and the mechanical part is easy. But with the electrical stuff I need to know what I have to do to make everything run correctly! Has anyone in here had experience with this?

 

Take the PCM and wiring harness along with the trans, you will likely need to have the 'new' pcm flashed to the 'old' trucks VIN, but, aside from that, should work just fine.

 

One truck is a 4.7 and one is a 3.7, dont think PCM's will walk along.
