Default 2004 Dakota 4.7L V8 possible fuel leak

For the most part the truck runs good. I still drive it daily and I do hit the hwy and do 70 to 80.

I still have the oil changed about every 3500 to 3800 miles.

The check engine light has been on a while with the following codes.

P0442
EVAP System leak (small leak)

P0456
EVAP System Small leak

P2097
Downstream Fuel Trim System 1 Rich

P0456
EVAP System Small Leak

Not sure if this is something I can fix in my garage but any ideas on what the issues are so when I take it in to a service center I will have more of an idea.

The small leak might be a as simple as a bad seal on the gas cap.

I just fixed a small evap leak, on the 2002 it was the hose going from the leak detection pump near the left headlight to the intake manifold. In the process I knocked loose the larger hose to the intake, didnt catch it and the ECU thru a large evap leak code. Pushed it back on and all is good. It will need a clamp or replacement hose.

Pull off the hoses on the intake, inspect for cracks and replace as needed. if it feels loose on the fitting on either end, either replace or clamp it
