Default P0440 and P0441 evap codes.

Hey y’all, I’m new to the dodge scene and don’t really know what else to look for regarding to the check engine light codes P0440 and P0441. My symptoms are poor fuel economy, rough idle/sometimes stalling at stoplights, and a gas smell in my truck when starting it up. I’ve already replaced the leak detection pump, evap purge valve, charcoal canister, pcv valve, 2 cracked hoses, and cleaned the TB. I’m honestly not sure whether or not I should just go ahead and replace the fuel pump now since none of those parts fixed the issues. Any ideas?

Check your gas cap. If the valve in that is stuck open you will get evap codes. Since your getting rough idling though I assume there is another bad hose or one is unplugged. What year Dakota and engine is this?

I've had both codes in the past. You should squeeze every evap hose along it's length and you'll find cracks if there are any. There are hoses under the truck down by charcoal canister, under the hood of course and you can even find some under the battery tray. I cut the cracked ends off and reattached along with zip ties. The final fix came when I replaced the LDP with one I got out of a junkyard 2009 PT cruiser. The same pump is used in all sorts of Chrysler vehicles and OEM is better than aftermarket.
