Electrical problem
i just bought a 2003 dodge dakota, 5.9 and last night the headlights just started flashing all the interior lights started flashing and finally they all went out but now the lights turn on when they want to and when they do they flash randomly...the security light on the dash flashes too, is there a way to turn off the factory security?

the dealer is going to charge me 85 bucks just to tell me what the hell is wrong
he said it sounds like a security problem, but this sucks i have to work at night and driving with the strobing lights sucks
anyway if anyone does know how to disable to factory security please let me know

hey i figured it out and for anyone who may have this problem in the future its called the central timing module and its in the driver kick panel they run about140 bucks but well worth it thanks for the help.
I have a 2002 Dakota quad-cab and it is having the same problem, but I don't have the security option. At least I think so, bought it used. I talked to the dealership and they told me that their is no CTM in my truck. I find that hard to believe since I have read that the 2001 and 2003 have them. When I talked to the dealership they told me it is probably the ATM (alarm timing module). If it is the CTM and it is located on the driver side kick panel, how do I remove the kick panel?
