Default Electrical problem

i just bought a 2003 dodge dakota, 5.9 and last night the headlights just started flashing all the interior lights started flashing and finally they all went out but now the lights turn on when they want to and when they do they flash randomly...the security light on the dash flashes too, is there a way to turn off the factory security?

Dude that sucks. I don't really know. I would think there was a fuse for it. Don't know what else it would control. Sorry I can't be of more help.

this could be a small chance but if water gets into the fuses it make them go on and off (it happened to me)

I have a 2002 Dakota quad-cab and it is having the same problem, but I don't have the security option. At least I think so, bought it used. I talked to the dealership and they told me that their is no CTM in my truck. I find that hard to believe since I have read that the 2001 and 2003 have them. When I talked to the dealership they told me it is probably the ATM (alarm timing module). If it is the CTM and it is located on the driver side kick panel, how do I remove the kick panel?
