Default 2.5L AC Compresor a DIY Job?

Hey all - my AC compressor is causing the belt to squeal and idles really rough when the AC is running.
I put a can of AC Pro in every year to keep it cool during these hot Oklahoma summers. But is replacing the AC compressor a DIY for the average shade tree mechanic?
Also, wanting to replace the radiator. DIY job also, more so than the AC compressor?
Thanks!!

You can do the compressor yourself, (as well as the radiator...) but, it's actually easier to take it in to a shop to have the a/c recharged when you are done.

I figured the compressor with the refrigerant would have to see some time in the shop,
But from I have been reading, the radiator should be a fairly easy undertaking.
Thanks, HeyYou!

Make sure the shop draws a vacuum to check for leaks before recharging, as you shouldn't have had to add. My Dak has never had the AC recharged in 332K mi and is still ice cold. Also, make sure the proper amount of oil is in the system.
