Default 4.7 oil preference

I have a new to me 2000 Dakota 4.7 82,000 miles. What oil do you’all prefer and will get her to 300,000+ miles?
I have an 01 Ram that I got at 74,000 in 07. She has 332,000 on her. I use High Mileage Penzoil conventional with the Lucas oil additive. I been using the Lucas since 150,000 and a Wix filter.
I’ve never used synthetic in amu of my vehicles what are the advantages of synthetic?

Quaker State Full Synthetic 0W20. Sometimes I mix in a single bottle of same brand 5W30 with the 0W20. Oil change intervals are 7,500 mi. Now @ 335K

I usually don't tell people to google stuff, but this is decades old, common info.

I personally really like penzoil platinum. You can get it really cheap at walmart and is a solid choice for oil. Project Farm on youtube has a series testing oils. While its not a perfect test group it does have some good value. I would recommend it.

Pennzoil and Quaker State are both Shell oil products. They are sister oils. In the torture testing I've seen, Quaker State wins out. Both are good oils though.
