2002 Dakota 4.7 4x4 with a problematic. I was driving home late at night on the freeway with the cruise control on and then all of a sudden the truck makes a bang like something just came apart and the cruise kicks off. I step on the gas set the cruise back on and everything is fine until the next morning. The next morning I fire the truck up and it runs just fine. No idiot lights everything is normal so I go into the house and come back out and the truck is no longer running. I tried to start it and alls it did was crank over. Noticed that my fuel,battery voltage, and coolant temp gauge wasn’t working plus what appeared to be every idiot light on. So I let it sit there for a couple hours came back and it started right up then same thing happens again only this time I notice it says no bus in the odometer place. I pull out my cheesy code reader and get a P0725 code and I disconnected the cam and crank sensors hoping my gauges would come back but they didn’t. I cleared the code and it hasn’t came back yet. Now the truck fires up every time cold but the ABS and Parking break light is on all the time which hasn’t ever been a problem. I did the Ignition switch diagnostic test and don’t get any codes when it’s cold. When it’s warm and doesn’t run I get 920,921,999 code which goes away when everything cools off. Bad PCM? Suggestions?
