Exclamation Bigger tires/Body lift

What's up guys. I gotta question for y'all. I'm about to put a 3 inch body lift on my 99 dakota sport. Is there any parts I'll have to buy like different axles or struts or shocks stuff like that? My second question is I wanna get some 37" tires. I've heard I might have to get a different gear box and stuff like that. Is that accurate?

Body lift doesn't affect suspension at all. You won't get 37's on a dak without doing extensive modification. Solid axle suspension conversion up front, meaner rear axle, MUCH lower gears..... (which aren't available for your stock axles.....) And you better have a V-8 to turn those monster meats.

I think you would have to do some pretty serious fender carving for 'em to fit, and the stock axles wouldn't last long... 33's are probably doable, but, even those would likely require lower gears. (depending on what you currently have....) Now, the 8 liter would be a tight fit..... but, BOY would that be FUN!
