We just purchased a 2004 Dakota with 150k miles. Of course within the 1st week the service 4wd light has come on. We have seen many posts with varying opinions of what is the cause. Any help would be great. We picked up a used CTM and TCCM at the salvage yard and changed both out but the problem still remains. Is the best next step to get a diagnosis from the dealer?

 

Check your local parts store, they might be able to read the codes.
