Swap 4.7 to 3.7. Yes you read that correctly.
I have a 2004 with a 3.7L 5 speed manual 2WD. Have the chance to get a cheap 2002 that is currently a 4.7 automatic 4x4 with a blown engine. Can I swap in my good 3.7? Any advice on why or why not and what things I may not be thinking about. Tia.

It likely will fit using the mounts from the '04. The PCM may be an issue. How many connectors are on the '04. How many on the '02. The '02 may be JTEC while the '04 would be NGC. You may also have some issues with various sensors.
