2003 dodge Dakota 3.9 has power but won't crank new starte

Default 2003 dodge Dakota 3.9 has power but won't crank new starte

2003 dodge Dakota 3.9 has power but won't crank new starter and still nothing but I here a faint clicking noise when turning the key all the lights come on and everything works.im just stumped and have no idea what to do

Check fuse 16 in the PDC. 50 amp. That is what supplies power to the starter relay. (which controls the solenoid.)

Also the starter relay itself could be bad. Swap with like kind to test. Many identical relays next to it.

True that, that is the clicking I expect he is hearing, but, that only implies the control circuit side of the relay is actually working.
