Ryan posted today that he was shipping out a Mark82 Magnum cam kit...was it yours? haha.

If you can't tell, he's very hands-on. He's an aircraft pilot when he's not tuning. Hence the name, Flyin Ryan Performance

Haha I wish, I’m still poking around at finding an engine to get rebuilt. The guy I was going to buy from sold it before I could get there, but there’s one an hour from me for $150 out of a 96 1500, says it didn’t run when pulled but for $150 at a minimum I get parts.

I got mine from a junkyard for $150 with a hole in the oil pan where the motor mount broke in a side impact. I only wanted the block so I didn't care otherwise...

Down here a junkyard 5.9 goes for about $600 with a miles/months warranty.

Just a small heads up, the 96 intake manifold and sensors will be a little different. Nothing super significant and I think the old manifolds will still take the newer sensor positions and such. Pretty sure the flexplate sensor bolt holes will be there as well.

He said it turns over so I’ll go from there, I’m not afraid to modify the sensor wiring slightly to get it to fit so I’m not worried about that sort of stuff. Motors are the same for me as well, $500-800 for a whole engine, some places are selling the 5 speeds for almost $2000.
