Question 2000 dakota cooling system.

i just replaced water pump on my 2000 dakota slt, as I'm refilling coolant in radiator, it is pouring out somewhere where the engine and tranny connects. is there a freeze plug come loose in there and will i need to take tranny out to fix it or is there an alternate way to fix this issue?? can someone advisde, pls?

If it's pouring out, then yeah, likely lost a freeze plug. Only way to fix that properly is pull the engine, or drop the trans.
