Default 1998 Dodge Dakota Sunroof handle

Can anybody tell me what hardware I’m missing here ?? I’ve searched everywhere for a part that looks like it goes there but I got nothing . Thanks in advance !

I believe so , I bought it like this a few weeks ago , but I’m unaware if the owner before me made any mods . Everything seems stock to me

I can't even find a site that lists ANY sunroof parts for the dak...... That's odd.

There is a build sheet sticky under the sticky threads on this forum . Run a build sheet and see what the truck came with. Even if it was factory though, I doubt you'll ever find parts for it. I've never seen one in a junkyard (or ever) either, so it would be a super rare bird. I'd find a way to stick something in the crank and get it to close if the electric switch is not working, then disconnect the power so it never opens again.

so the guy I bought it from said the sunroof doesn’t work, it’s tape upon the top . Would there be an easy way to close it mechanically ?
