Default 10 Inch Brake Backing Plates

1998 Dakota with 10" drum brakes, backing plates right and left are rusted out. Searching internet etc., no 10" backing plates anywhere. However 9" backing plate available. If I replace all parts / downgrade to 9" backing plate, shoes and all other items, could this work? Any side effects issues? Has anyone had to replace 10" backing plates are there other solutions? Thanks

Looks like the 10" drum was the odd option for 00-. 01+ went to 11" for the bigger brake option. I'm thinking maybe the 11" brake package bolts up in place of the 10?

Okay, I think I saw box dimensions and thought they were ten. Search by VIN on a Mopar site and post the part numbers even if they don't have it.

The part number stamped on the backing plate(s) currently installed are 3214571-L and 3214572-R, it also appears the following part number(s) (from moparpartsgiant.com) might work as well 4882806 (Right) and 4882807 (Left). Thanks

Well, I found one side... if you feel like paying $100

4882806 - https://www.ebay.com/itm/22586295892...Bk9SR-C83IbNYw

This sale ended back in Dec. Message this seller to see if they have any more of the left side. https://www.ebay.com/itm/395076545410

If you go with 11 rear brakes, make sure your wheels will clear them.
