Based on the Admin's post:
"Actually, yeah, it would..... With an open circuit, the PCM sees -40 degrees C, and positively DUMPS fuel trying to get a burnable mixture. That will flood the engine in short order, and cause the no start"
I went out this morning, and shorted the Temp sensor plug...closing the circuit,
cranked her over, and still no start.
I didn't hear the fuel pump running...(but I usually don't)
so I'll try putting some gas down the throat to see if she'll kick over.
A short while later..................
Bingo !!! I guess I wasn't allowing time enough for the fuel line to fill.
They've been in disconnected for a while
That done now is time to change coolant, oil, and filter!
Then on to other fiddly issues...
