hey guys I have a 2002 dakota ext.cab my tail lites and dash lites dont work I cant find a fuse for eighter of them all other lites work except licsence plate lite dont work eighter need help tried everything I could think of hook a hot wire to tail lites they come on so bulbs are good

 

Sounds like you have a dirty connection or a bad wire that goes to the lights ..... Do you have mice that chew on wires? .... It is common.
Maybe you have dirty pug connections and you need to unplug and clean, then plug back in.
Possible you have a trailer wiring harness installed and the installer did a poor job.

Nobody online here can tell you which .... you will have to chase this down and find the issue ...... then others can help for a fix.

 

It should be fuse #4 in the junction block on the side of the dash. It feeds both the rear lighting and dash lights.
