I need help, transfer case

Default I need help, transfer case

Hey I was wondering if my transfer case from my 1990 dodge dakota would work in a 2000 dackota there both 3.9l v6

depends manuel or electric shifted and out put yoke/flanges may be diffrent.i have found that engine and tranz dont matter as much just model and outputs .my 99 with manuel tranz curently has a tcase out of an 02 with auto tranz

So would I be able to take the old ones off and put the right ones on?

Not sure how the motor connects to the shift mechanism, but, I would suspect that mounts for it won't be there on older t-cases.....

the rear out put i just changed slip yoke on drive shaft as it was same ujoint the front im not sure if it cab be swapped as i only needed to make truck drivabole and never got around to front
