Default Oil pan

I know this has been gone over a gazillion times but for some reason I'm having a hard time finding any good images of a 5.9 oil pan for a 2wd Dakota. I just picked up a 2000 R/T and it doesn't have an engine. I picked up an engine that was pulled from a Ram but it looks like it had been swapped in from a salvage yard. It's marked on the flexplate as have been removed from a Durango. It has a double sump pan that doesn't look like it came from a Ram but also doesn't look like one's that I have seen from a Dakota.

Oil pan from a 5.2 out of a dakota will bolt right up, and fit properly. Likely need the oil pickup tube as well.

I know that will work, the engine I bought already has a pan. Trying to figure out if it's already correct or not. I don't want to buy another pan if the one I have is correct.

Autozone has pics of the actual pans, and even offer a 360 degree view.

Go on a dodge/chrysler parts site and search by VIN for your oil pan. Even if they don't have it, you can usually get a part number. Google part number and click on "images" to view pics. Surround your part number with quotes for exact match.
