What year Dakota is it? Some basic advice in case you haven't already, drop in a K&N air filter for improved throttle response and better fuel economy, for a reasonable price. With the way gas prices are these days, you make up the difference in no time.

Get a larger motor!!!!!!!! All the work you can do to a 4 banger wont add up to a very slightly modded 318 or 360, escpecially if you want to make a street truck out of it. Im not trying to put you down but in my opinion it wouldnt be worth it.

Thanks for the advice, i am going to drop a 360 in it, i was asking if the turbo would bolt up to the 2.5 so i could use that while i beef up the 360 and get the other parts i would need.....

what zinnmaster said, its not worth the time or money you would put in, i have the same truck and i did a great deal of research. No matter what there would be a great deal of fabrication.

Im with them Puttin a turbo on a N/A engine is not an easy task. Even if the manifold bolts up you still hafto deal with oil lines, coolent, plumming for the intercooler, ect, ect. Then come the task of tunning that hard even when the car has turbo models. Take it from somone whos done it before put the time and money into the 360. Heck if u want somthing quick run Nitrous thats always a cheap easy Power if u don't care bout ur engine.
