hey

i haven't tried that particular chip, but, hypertech, can barely give me 10hp gain, and for alot more money. so for that hp chip you found, for that price, i doubt it.. like the turbonator, its crap..

Those things are crap. They are 10-cent resistors that override the IAT sensor to attempt to fool the computer into thinking that the air entering the engine is cooler than it really is. I'll bet most of those jerks on E-Bay don't even know the proper resistance values for the Dodge PCM's, you could be telling the computer the air is 500 degrees for all they know. Either way, the mod really doesn't do much, I really don't know why E-Bay lets those ads continue to run.

my brother has a friend that tried one for his mustang and all it was, was a 10 cent resistor as sincity R/T has already stated.
