As for body lifts, better check state laws. Some are getting ready to ban them (bodylifts) all together. Did you call Rancho, Skyjacker and Trailmaster? They might have them available but not listed on dealer sites.

Skyjacker and Trailmaster dont' have anything for Daks as of yet. Maybe in the future as a couple of manufacturers are supposed to have stuff in the works. We'll see. The only one's who offer any kind of suspension lift are Rancho, Fabtech, Aim, and Tuff Country. None of them are for the 04 unfortunately. The Rancho has them for 97-03. Fabtech only has them for the 2wd and Aim and Tuff Country are for the 97-03 but they're more for show than go. My advice would be just to sit tight and hope something comes out.

About a '04 suspension lift, Dakotamig said " the 02 or the 03 won't fit."
What's different about the '04 that makes the 03 version not fit?

hey

the 03 is differrent than the 04, dodge changed some of the layout of the truck, engine, chassis.. to make the 05 model go a little smoother for production.. like the headers for the 04 and 05 are the same, not the 03.. the catback exhaust, well there is one just for the 04.. and i know they changed the front end, a little bit..

you should talk to a fabricator and see what he can do for you. It will be cheaper cost and alot better lift. I've got a guy doing mine 02' whens he's done it'll have somewhere between 4.5" - 6.5" of sus. lift. I'm not sure what all he is doing but i know he took the torsion bars out and installed coilover fox reservoir shocks when i talked to him the other day he said it has around 13" inches of travel --- TOTAL PRICE = $1375.00 + shocks. 3" rancho cost about $2000 - $2500 w/install. If you are in the SoCal area let me know and i'll give you some names and numbers to call.

I found this:

Now what say all you? Seems like a lot of reverse engineering...or going back to the future?

Thanks for any input!

Try contacting Rancho to see if this lift will fit. Since they are really the only one with a kit for these trucks, they would be your best bet to talk to.
