Default Vibration at 1500 RPM's

Hey, Just wondering if anybody has come across a vibration in first or second gear on a 5 spd. at around 1500 rpms. I have a 99 dakota sport with a 3.9L.
Everything seems to run ok, but the vibration is driving me nuts. It seems like a misfire, but I have checked and replaced the plugs and wires. It only does it when in second or first gear at about 1500 rpms. It then mellows out when at a higher rpm's and when in a different gear. First gear gets worse when accelerating, then starts to mellow out when in second. By third gear it is not there. The clutch has been replaced also. Not sure if it is supposed to be this way or not. Please Help.

Thanks,
Cool Dakota

How long ago was the clutch done? Even though it is new, it might not be aligned right which could cause vibrations.

FOUND IT....just so you know is was a Carrier bearing (support bearing). The rubber was weak and weathered. That was the problem.

Thanks for all of those that replied.

Thanks again.
