Default motor replaced, now codes...

I had to replace a 2.5 in my 98 dakota due to a spun bearing. We started it up saturday night. Only problem now is we have a couple codes so we can't get the thing smogged.

P0138- O2 sensor circuit high volts (bank 1 sensor 2).
P1491-Manufacturer Control. Auxiliary emission Controls.

Those are what it says right now. I'm thinking replace the second o2 sensor and see what happens. I just replaced the first one (before the cat) not too long ago. I just wanted to see if anyone had this happen or anything!?!

Any info anybody has is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance!!!

P.S. Post number one and probably many more to come

Have you cleared the codes, do they come back? Is everything hooked up right? I had a evap leak (gas cap) and put 600 miles on the truck staring at that stupid light, that's about $125 worth of gas (towing) and a bunch of engine cycles - I would have thought that after filling up 3 times it would have gone away, but it didn't. Cleared it out with a code reader and it stayed off.

thanks for the info. I actually did clear the codes already and they came back. I'm going to replace the second o2 sensor anyways since I already have it. Reading your story, do you think i should run it through all the old gas and then try with some newer gas? When we started it up, it had less than half a tank so we filled it all the way back up. That may not be good enough though!?! Thanks again for your reply!!!
