Theres a fuse panel in thw side of thw dash. There should be a fuse in a wierd looking holder that shuts the lights off if you have to work with the doors open for a while. 10 to 1 its just a fuse popped and you missed it checking them (some times blade fuses can be a bear looking for a burnt one).

everyones just saying its a blown fuse. ive checked all the fuses and the ones under the hood, what one controls the radios constant 12v wire and the interiror lights? there might be a big fuse (like a metal block?) or a fuseable link i heard.

Check the wires, I don't belive dakotas to have fusable links, I've only seen them in imports, Chances might be that the fuse never popped when it should have and you could have fried a wire, start at the underhood fusebox and work your way towards the cab, The wires are probably in a loom so be very careful to look for and signs of damage, any slight amount of melted plastic would be a big clue, if you don't see any, open the loom (its just a cover, it should be slit)
and check all the wires, this is a very tedious process but make sure you don't miss a thing. If you don't see any problems in the engine compartment, It could be behind the dash, {just hope that it isn't back there.}
good luck, post any updates
BTW, I don't have a relay for the radio, or any fuseable links i just checked
