It's a Sony XM 502x 2 channel, running it bridged

When you installed the head unit did you bypass the factory amp? I'm not sure how the dodge works but in my ford with JBL the factory amp didn't put out as much as the pioneer head unit.

97 dodge dakota v8. I am trying to bypass the factory inifinity amplifier to install a new stereo. I cannot find it to save my life. Can anyone help me?

the stock amp should be on the passenger side behind the kick panel under the dash.
