Default stupid noise

hey everyone, I have a 2002 dakota I just bought and was trying to figure out how to get rid of the stupid dinging noise it makes when you have the key turned back to accessory listening to the radio with the door open, isn't there a relay or fuse you can take out to get rid of that noise?

thanks

I haven't looked into it on the Dak, but in my old ram and my more recent Subarus you could just unplug the dinger itself, of course you lose all "hey jackass, your keys are still in the ignition and your lights are on" warnings.

If its the same as my Ram was .. pull the plug from the drivers door (The One that turns the light on)
I forgot what wire it is but one runs to the Bell the others run to the Dome light
You could prolly check the wire color on the dome light & find it fast
Good luck Troy

cool thanks for the replies guys, is the wire youre talking about in the door actually in the door where that black rubber hose boot is? Are the wires in there or under the dash?
