My truck is sometimes hard to start and also stalls, I was told I needed a new fuel filter. Where is the filter located on a v6 98 dodge dakota? Thanks

 

if no one has said it yet, welcome. now that i have you in a good mood there is only one filter for the dak's, its in the tank. but before you start to curse and swear, check the batt cables. i had the same problems, even the stalling, and it was the cables cutting out as i drove. also checking or even replacing the cables is a LOT cheaper and eayser than replacing the filter.
