V8 swap.

Hey guys i have a V6 in my Dakota and i found a 5.2L that i want to put in. I'm pritty sure the trans will fit up but i was wondering if the Trans will be able to hold the power.

whichever
if its not beat to hell it should hold up.
dodge trannys are pretty tough and the HP differences aren't obscene
i think they use the same trans from the factory

Im not sure what trans it is but the truck is a 98 reg cab. And the trans just just rebuilt last year by a guy that does amazing work. Im not sure how to find out what trans is in it.
