Hello everyone,
I tried doing a search and couldn't find an answer. Are the seats from 2nd gen Dakotas and similar year Durangos exchangeable? I bought a 01 Dakota club cab with 40K miles, but the driver seat has a spring that is blown out or something. Seems the Durango seats are easier to find, particularly with power to the drivers side. Thanks for any info anyone can offer.

 

acording to my mitchell collision repair guide, they have diffrent part numbers, but ford pulls this same bs and several seats will fit into several diffrent cars. if i were you, i would take mesurements and check them aganst the durango seats. tell me how it goes, i could use some new seats also.

 

I also just bought an 01 dakota Regular cab with 18,000 miles on it. I was wondering the same thing. My seats are perfectly fine but, I would like a seat the comes out to the door. These seats are very narrow. Trying to fit 2 people and a car seat in the front of this is a little bit harder than i thought it would be. I wouldn't even mind a bench seat.

 

They should be the same seats.
