Last weekend I was changing my rear end fluid. It started to get metalic near the end. then when it all drained out there was a piece of metal in the bottom. so I took it to a tranny shop and they said it was some kind of a spring, and the kit was $350 beacuse you cant buy them seperate. and he said of it was like that for too long it could have worn into the housing. it it did then im ****ed. I drive a 99 dakota 4x4 with a 318. posi with 31" tires. I do the occasional burnout. I was just wondering if any of you have ever had rear end problems.
