I have a 2003 Dakota 4x4 w/4.7 A buddy of mine gave me a Jet Chip Power Module Stage 1 that he had installed on his 4.7 2000 Dakota. I was going to install today and saw that it doesnt fit......maybe. Its my understanding that the ECM is mounted on the passenger side of the engine bay, just outboard of the air filter box. His 2000 had 3 wiring harness ports on it, mine has 4. Worse, they are totally differently shaped plugs. Mine is square and has aprox twice as many pins.

Here is the kicker: Jet shows the same part number for 2000-2003.

"00-03 4.7L/Automatic or Manual Stage 1 90002"

Does anyone have any idea about this? Is Jet incorrect about the same part fitting the 2000-2003 trucks? Do I have some weird late production model? Did the ECM move inside the cabin?
