I bought another factory remote for my truck, and made sure the FCC numbers on the back matched for compatibility. I tried following the directions in the manual to program the new remote but it simply is not working according to the manual. When holding down the unlock button, you press the panic button and release. A chime is supposed to sound at that point. The chime will not sound on my truck until I release the unlock button. Any ideas? Or am I stuck going to the dealership?
