Hi,
i have a 2000 dakota 3.9L automatic truck and i want to start buying performance upgrades for it. I was thinking af startin off with either a airaid cold air intake, or something like a superchips max micro tuner. I only have like 500 bucks so i know i don't have a ton of options, but what do you think would be best, or should i just save up and buy something better later.

i also have a 2000 3.9 and bought an airaid intake but could not tell a very noticable difference in anything. I haven't bought a superchip yet so I couldn't tell you if it was worth the money or not but I would probably go with a volant intake instead of an airaid.

the air raid is the best bang for buck for intakes. i have owned volant and K&N and my air raid made more power. the superchips programmer is AWESOME! i would go with the programmer first, then save up and get the intake.
