Default Clutch adjustment?

Am I correct in thinking that a 97 dak has a hydraulic clutch and is non-adjustable?

I have roughly 3 inches of working room with my pedal and I want to know what to ask the trans. shop before I pay them to dig around under my truck.
My dad swears up and down that it can be adjusted but I don't think so.

Thanks guys, Peace

AutoZone carries Haynes manuals.
I've seen Chilton's at Half-price Books and Borders...

so if it is zero maintanance and not adjustable, do i need a new clutch if it engages really high? its also fairly tough to push it down, and is very annoying. someone earlier in the forums stated that they had a new clutch put in and they still had the clutch engaging too high. any ideas?

the higher up it lets out, the more worn it is. if it grinds occasionally when going in gear and it lets out right at the top then its probably gone.

Good news!
she's at the shop for the weekend.
I got it in just in time. the flywheel might not need resurfacing
I never got it to the grind point.
The clutch was on its last leg

Bad News!

I had better go get mine checked out as well. It does the same thing. How fast do they normally wear out? I belive my dad replaced it once before.
