Default Mopar performance Valve covers

i want to get a set of mopar perfomance valve covers for my 1999 5.2l dakota. i found what i like, theres a link below, but summit doesnt list these covers as fitting my truck. i cant imagine the dodge small block v8 changing too much in the last 30 years.. are they going to fit? are they not available for my pickup?

Yeah, Summit doesn't always list everything for an application. It's annoying, so sometimes you have to go to the manufacturer website, get the part number, then go back to Summit and search for the part number. Or just call them.

But he's correct, LA heads have 5 bolt holes, Magnum have 10. You can use the older ones, but they won't seal as well is what I've been told.

Another site to find the covers, and they are cheaper, is Monicatti Chrysler:

I bought mine through them and they are $13.80 cheaper.

Wherever you buy them make sure you get everythiong needed to install them. Attaching screws, grommets, baffle and oil filler cap. You may also want to get a new set of valve cover bolts/studs for the installation.
