Possible stupid torsion bar question (I did search)
I was underneath my truck for the first time today when changing the oil, and I took the opportunity to wheel my creeper around and take a tour. First I checked out the muffler situation to see how much space I had to deal with, and then I started to look for/at the torsion bar.
I was looking and I didn't really see anything that I thought might be it. After doing some Googling I have to ask, do our RWD trucks have a torsion bar up front? I'm going to take another look tomorrow now that I have a better idea of what to look for. But from reading up on Google it seems like with other trucks, the 2WD versions did not come with one.
I really want to raise the front end a bit.
Thanks fellas.

Your Googling is correct. The 1st and 2nd Gen 2WD do NOT have torsion bars, only the 4WD models do. (3rd Gen do not have torsion bars period it appears)
