What if I started with a 408 block?
twin turbo, bored, stroked, bigger injectors,balenced and blueprinted, performance pumps and the like.
there are a few engine builders nearby so I won't have touble finding pros
posi-trac rear with traction bars.
if I can't reach 800 it's not a problem but I want to get the most out of whatever I do.
I like the twin turbo 408 KRC performance is doing

That would be a great buildup. Tons of power, but again you're looking at needing forged internals, beefed up tranny and rear end. I'm not sure how much power you can run through a 9.25" before it gets to be a problem. I've got 2 360 powered trucks that I'm itching to throw stroker cranks in, it's something I've been reading about for quite some time.

I use my trucks for towing and hauling so a blower makes more sense for my goals, but it sounds like you just want it to haul *** which a turbo 408 would.

Yea, I'll most likely upgrade anything that has to do with the drivetrain as I put the engine in.
The only towing or hauling i'll ever do with this truck I can already do without a problem.
besides, could you imagine the look of the punk honda who just got schooled by a truck on dubs and heavy weight mods
I won't put a cowl or ram air, maybe a couple rows of louvers behind the turbos.

Anything that handles power would be the strongest i can find or have built.
