Default Long Tube Tuned Dakota Headers

As you can see by the title of the thread, John Mercedes has his custom made, tuned, long tube headers ready to go. What we are wondering is how many people would be interested in purchasing a set of said headers. The manfacturer would like to have an order of 25 sets if possible.

Those of you that have been around racing for years, already know how much a custom set of headers costs, like over $1000.00. These headers are gauranteed to fit, no seperate "FLANGE" to make the headers work and fit around everything. These have been rigorously tested to make sure that they have clearance to clear anything that has caused anyone issues in the past.

The cost will be around the $560.00USD mark and if you want Jet-Hot coating, that will be another $195.00. I believe that is still cheaper than the GSM's which are around the $650.00 mark + $100.00 for the port plates to make them fit properly, and they still leak from what I understand.

I have attached a couple of pictures of the headers so that people can see what the headers look like.

If anyone is interested in these, we are still looking for the 25 people to pay in. We have a list full of people now, but none of them want to pay up. If anyone wants to join in and is serious, please contact John now. So far out of the 25 people we have 8 that have paid. John has been doing this a long time, and hes very disheartened about this whole thing, as hes been developing these headers for over 2 years, and now when its time to put up for them, his dakota crew is letting him down. Come on guys. The dakotas arent quite dead yet, but not standing behind your word and paying up is very discouraging to someone thats still trying to produce custom, one of a kind parts for a dying breed. Again, if anyone really wants these, and will pay for them, contact John john@southeastrt.com

The buy will happen as soon as people start paying. Hes got a list of over 25 people, but nobody wants to pay their share. If they would pay up, the buy could happen now.

These look good. Have they been dyno tested?

I will consider these in the very near future but only after seeing some before and after dyno results.

A few months back I went crazy looking for a set and was ready to buy.

Thanks in advance.

Yes they have been dyno tested. I believe the gain over Mopar Headers was 30 to 40 more horsepower. Trust me, these have been made by the most knowledgeable Mopar Parts vender on the net. John Mercedes has cars that hold quarter mile records.

E mail him for more questions.

First question are these made for the 5.2/5.9L motor or the 4.7L? and..............

Is this product only going to be sold if and when everyone pays up or can someone just pay the asking price and get a pair?......I am not interested in the BS attached to a group purchase seeing this one is not going to smooth (sorry to hear that) but I would like to find out the asking price for a pair directly from John with the Jet-Hot coating?

Gentlemen, just send John an email himself. john@southeastrt.com He will tell you everything you need to know. These headers are for the 5.2 and 5.9 magnum engines.
