i've never herd of any of those horror stories. and yeah i herd u cant do any towing or ne of that stuff. but its ok i dont do much towing anyways lol. as for the body lift i think im gonna do it. and i think im also gonan do that fabtech 2" lift also. i think that'll go well. im not gonna do ne nerf bars on the sides i like the way they look on a stock truck but i agree with the lifted they do kinda look dumb. and if i go with a brush guard i should be able to fab somethign up. four years of shop class will help me there. i dont think im gonan need a leveling kit i measured the distance from the ground to the top of the wheel well on level surface and front is 1.75" shorter then back and every kit i saw is for 2". i dont want the front sitting higher then the back. when it comes to tires im looking at going for a 31 10.5r15. mud terrains. i wanan keep my stock rims. know of any low priced mud tires out there. i herd kuhmo ( i think thats the name) and dayton timberland are pretty good tires for low price.

as for school. im going into law enforcement. i was originaly planning on going to the marrines but the tought of that tore my mom apart. so i figured if i cant go accross seas to help people i'll stay in our nation and help people.

Exhaust first. Probably cheaper anyway. I've heard people having more luck with the 50 series on the V-6's than the 40 series.

I did a 2 inch lift on my 99 5.2 4x4. Cranked up the torque tubes a couple of turns and helper springs in back and I can run 32x11.5" BFGs on factory 15x8" wheels. I need thicker spacers as there is some front tire rub against the frame with tight turns. I did the lift by myself in a day. Biggest problem was relocating the radiator. Rest went pretty smoothly. 4wheel low range takes a bit of extra pressure as the lift limits the travel on the shifter. I check the bolts for tightness every couple of months but after 5 yrs and 50k miles, I've had no problems with body shifting or looseness. My Dak came with a factory class 3 so no pulling with rear bumper was not a problem.
