temp sensor

Default temp sensor

I've got a 97 dak 5.2 and its acting like its got a blowed head gasket but I also have a busted temp sensor but, would a sensor make it act like that>

that all depends on what your temp gauge is doing. if your gauge is reading high then yes, your temps sensor could be shot or your connection. if you were to jumper the connector and turn you key to "on" not "start" watch your gauge, it should stay stone cold. unplugged it will read max.

if you think you have a blown head gasket, check you coolant level, if its disappearing then its possible your headgasket is shot.
