ok my cousin has an 01 dakota r/t that will start but wont stay running. runs for about 10 seconds then shuts off. any ideas on what could be the problem.

 

Sentry key AWOL? Fuel pump on the fritz? clogged fuel filter?

 

throttle body needs a good cleaning. take the TB off and remove the IAC valve off the back and clean it up real good, then re-install with a new base gasket (old one will work ok to if you cant get a new one for now) and make sure it's torqued down right.
