my first dakota was an 01 club cab...thats what really got me hooked into the mopar world. but when you r having to haul your lil brothers and their friend s to school everyday a club cab just dont cut it. plus i have like having teh extra room so that i can load up more subs and amps when im ready to start the interior.

ok...now i got a question. so far i have bolted on a CAI, Fastman throttle body, and found a buddy that can remap my computer for optimum power ...what else should i do to make my dak absolutley fly. im addicted to the adreneline rush you get when your ripping down the interstate. LOL.

man, I want to do alot of stuff to my truck, but I dont have money for new heads, how much do port and polishes run? what should I do with my gearing?
well, since I got the V6, theres not a huge selection for it, so most parts are more$$
but, im trying to look at EVERYTHING I can do, research it, then decide what needs to be added, see how much I can spend and then go from there, OH and also ask what you guys think of it

Dakota I would say if you truly want to go that far with your truck I would say stop modding and start saviing for a bigger engine. You can only get that thing so far. It is kind of a pain to find 360 parts but not too bad. I know the 318 has a better selection...

If your more speed I would definitely sell it and buy a dakota that doesn't have have the engine missing from the factory. I have a 5.9 durango when I went over to a buddy's house he showed me his moms new dakota p/u that have been debadged by previous owner. I looked at the engine and something just looked funny He told me it had the 5.9L then it hit me and I laughed my rear off and told him hes full of **** I was like wheres the ogther half of the 5.9 your missing 2 frikin liters. Me and my brother have been crackin jokes since about how fast he was telling us it was before we found out it had a 3.9L
