You are correct. The '03 manual is for a Ram.

The Ram is VERY different a Dakota. Try the '01 manual it is much closer to what you have.

You can buy the pdf manuals on eBay for about 8 bucks.

Default 1998 Dodge Dakota Service Manual

Does anyone know where I can download a 1998 Dodge Dakota Service Manual free? The few I've found on the Web had broken links or lead to 404's.

It's working. Click on the little arrow pointing down at the top of the page. That opens the download feature and you'll be able to download it to your computer.

If you don't already have an unzipping program like WinZip on your computer, get 7-Zip instead. It's a small file and it'll unpack the .rar compressed file.

Those "free" sites often turn out to be scams. You might have to resign yourself to paying for it.

There's a source on eBay for 14.95:

Default Dodge Dakota Owner Manual from 1997 search

Hello everyone,
I am looking for an official Dodge Dakota Owner Manual from 1997 as a PDF.

For me it's about the data of the equipment and I have an official document so that a trailer hitch for the front and rear can be entered here in Germany with the TÜV. Here you have to enter something like that and the problem for me is that there is nothing in this document. So you need either a manual or an official letter from DODGE.

So I would like to need your help

Greetings from Germany
