Default From vacation

Well I went to skyline drive camping over the weekend with my truck. I towed my pop up trailer up there. Well after 800 miles and smoking the brakes on the hills. Im back and the truck pulled the 3000 pound trailer all over the place with me. Got to love the power of Dodge. I been a long time Chevy owner but I don't see me buying a other.

I'm with you on this truck being the best vacation vehicle, i just got back from an east coast romp myself, no towing involved but I did manage to dig this out of my rear tire along rte 132 in New York State - thank goodness for the full size spare! hat's off to whoever can identify this foreign objest

Looks like a cog from a bike. Lucky that thing didn't go flying into anyone's cab though.

I have to say I'm glad the dealer talked me into the replacement warranty for those tires. They weren't even a year old...word to the wise buy the warranty at $7 per tire it just paid for itself about 20 times over!

Green <---- You're right, it troubles me the things I see laying around on our highways...that would have been a pretty nasty projectile if instead of catching in my tire I just flipped it up into traffic

Yeah people don't understand how little things like that can be so dangerous but high speeds will do it. My coworker saw a nasty accident the other day on the parkway. Apparently there was a bike carrier or something along those lines laying in the middle of the parkway and everyone was swerving to miss it. My coworker went into the left lane and a van that was behind her in the middle lane saw it too late and swerved hard to the right and flew off the road and flipped a few times. People just need to keep up after themselves and secure their sh*t. Oh and I always get the warranty. I popped a tire on a curb a month after I got new tires when I had my taurus and got me a freebie.
