3" lift
im looking to put a 3" suspension lift on my dak so i can get some bigger tires on there(of course). has anybody else with a 2Wheel Dr done this yet and how were the results? also, did you have to change out your rims or could you run stock? i would like to go with a 265/75 on my O/E 16in rims. thanks.

RE: 3" lift
since your doing a suspension lift on the 2wd im asuming your going with fabtechs 3inch suspension lift? I here from reveiws and other sources its a good lift althought persoinly I dotn have any input. If you go with the fabtech lift you cant use oem wheels do to the backspacing.. Unless you get wheel spacers which are exactly what they sound like a circler peice of metal that cost about 70 bucks a pop that goes between the rim and the attachment point. The good news is you only need them for the front 2 wheels as the back are fine.

RE: 3" lift
i agree with mean green. unless you are planning on 90% off road and 10% on road, i would stay away from mud terrain tires. i know everyone loves the way they look and the way they perform off road, but if you are putting them on a daily driver, you are setting yourself up for disaster. very short tread life on road and terrible braking abailty, along with horrible all season performance combine to make the mud terrain the worst choice for a daily driver. the name says it all, just think about it. mud terrain. go with an aggressive all terrain. i went with the bfg t/a ko 33" and couldnt be happier. i have done some pretty hairy off roading since i put them on and they havent let me down one bit, but more importantly, they work for daily driver conditions very well.
